Pedodontic Bands Universal
Universal bands designed for the therapeutic needs of pediatric orthodontics, allowing early treatment of patients with mixed or deciduous teeth.
E6100E6500E6165-96
Designed to meet the therapeutic needs of pediatric orthodontics by allowing early treatment of patients with mixed or deciduous teeth.
Available in 10 sizes, either for upper and lower, with a laser etched identification number. The shape and height are designed for the anatomy of deciduous molars: the band fits easily to the pyramid shape of primary molars rather than fighting it.
The medium temper of biomedical steel used to manufacture the bands allows adaptation to that pyramidal shape while minimising the problems of detachment — the failure mode that matters most in a primary molar band.
They are necessary for the construction of palatal expanders and space maintainers, and are useful wherever a band has to carry something rather than just retain it.
Ordering: always specify the size, e.g. E6100-05. The E6165-96 assortment contains 5 bands of each upper and lower size (100 pcs total); the tray is not autoclavable.
