MIM® buccal tubes
Buccal tubes in stainless steel made with MIM® technology: precise slot, bevelled design for comfort, and torque from 0° to −25°.

Buccal tubes are produced in stainless steel with Metal Injection Moulding technology. That is why the slot is absolutely precise in size: with MIM® the metal is injected into a mould rather than cut from solid stock, so the geometry stays identical from the first part to the last.
The bevelled design serves one purpose — to go unnoticed. The tube sits against the cheek instead of standing proud of the tooth surface.
The range covers .018″ and .022″ slots, .045″ and .051″ round tubes in occlusal and gingival placement, torque from 0° to −25° with +8° rotation, and an auxiliary .018″ × .025″ tube where it is needed.
Every MIM® tube can be prewelded to a CALIBRA® or WEB band, or solder-brazed onto the D.B. anatomical MAXI pad F2800-00. Both services are free. The direct bonding version is available on request.
