Connectors for laser welding
MIM® connectors for welding to the lingual side of a band: they hold a wire or an expander arm, in three models for expanders, palatal bars and quad-helix.

Laser-welding connectors are accessories welded to the lingual side of the band. Their job is to hold a wire or an expander arm while the laser joins them — elements of different thickness, which is otherwise difficult to achieve.
They are made with MIM® technology, with a special seat geometry. The flanges ensure a sound joint to the band when welded, and the connector shape allows a correct biomechanical position of the arm while keeping the area hygienic.
Three models cover three purposes: G0560-00 for expanders, G0565-09 (0.9 mm) for bicuspids and G0570-09 (0.9 mm) for molars. They are used to build expanders, palatal bars and quad-helix with safe, solid welded joints.
The range also includes round tubing G0525-36 (.036″) and G0525-45 (.045″) in 30 cm lengths, the Twin arch tube G0520-24 for double wire .011″ with .036″ outer diameter, and the soldering tube G0533-36 with .036″ inner diameter.
