Antisnoring Appliances
M.A.D. Series Leone — mandibular advancement devices for snoring and sleep apnea: Forward!, Forward! Max Retention, Telescopic Advancer and Dual.
Snoring and obstructive sleep apnea are treated here by acting on the mechanism that causes them: the lower jaw is held forward, which carries the tongue and epiglottis away from the uvula and stops the soft tissue vibration responsible for the sound.
The Leone M.A.D. series covers the appliance types that clinical practice actually uses — the bimaxillary Dorsal type with its 70° inclined plane, a higher-retention version for demanding acrylic splints, and telescopic arm systems with single or dual activation.
